Hoistack Technical Architecture
How Does Hoistack Work?
Hoistack's architecture consists of a field device that collects data from the crane, secure data transfer, a cloud-based logging system, alarm infrastructure and a web/mobile panel.
Field Device and Data Collection
The Hoistack field device connects brand-independently to the drive in the crane's existing panel and reads operating status, running hours, fault notifications and critical event data at the source.
Offline Data Buffering
If the connection drops, data is stored temporarily on the device and transferred to the platform in full once the connection is restored.
Secure Data Transfer and Cloud
Collected data is transferred to the Hoistack platform over an end-to-end encrypted connection and stored as a time series in the cloud-based logging system.
Web/Mobile Panel and Alarms
The whole fleet is monitored live from the web and mobile panel; push and email notifications are sent on threshold breaches or faults.
